A Qualzy activity type for stage-by-stage experience research. Participants complete tasks at each stage of a journey — from pre-event through to post-event — building a complete picture of experience as it unfolds.

Define your stages

Build a journey with as many stages as your research requires — before, during, and after a purchase; across multiple healthcare touchpoints; through a multi-day travel experience. Each stage has its own tasks and timing.

Capture ratings and responses at every stage

Each stage can include numeric ratings, open text, photo or video uploads, and follow-up probes. Participants respond when the moment is live — not from memory days later. You capture sentiment at each touchpoint, not just at the end.

See the journey arc

Ratings and sentiment are plotted across all stages, revealing the high points and low points of the experience. You can see where the journey lifts, where it disappoints, and what drives recommendation intent — not just an aggregate score.

Respond at the moment it happens

Participants receive a notification when each new stage opens. They complete that stage's tasks — a rating, a photo, a short video — then carry on with their day. The next stage opens when the time is right.

A visual timeline shows participants their progress through the journey — which stages they've completed and what's coming next. Because they respond in the moment, you get experience as it actually happens — not a reconstructed account shaped by everything that came after it.

Stage 1 opens

Participant receives a notification or email when their first stage is ready — typically a pre-event or pre-visit task.

Completes tasks for that stage

Ratings, a quick text response, and optionally a photo or short video. Takes a few minutes on their phone or tablet.

Next stages unlock in sequence

Each stage becomes available at the right moment — during the experience, immediately after, a week later. You control the timing.
