Moderator Intelligence

AI that makes you
a more capable moderator.

Reply suggestions, language bridging, and data integrity - three tools built around one principle: the AI helps, you decide. Nothing reaches participants without your say-so.

One Guiding Principle

The AI assists.
You decide.

Every feature on this page shares the same design philosophy: AI does the heavy lifting, but nothing happens without your approval. No reply goes to a participant automatically. No response is disqualified without your review. You remain the expert in the room.

Replies are suggestions

AI generates multiple contextually relevant reply options for every participant. You read them, choose the best one, optionally edit, and post. Every single time.

Language bridging is assistance

AI writes responses natively in the participant's language - not translated from yours. You see everything before it goes anywhere. You approve every message.

Flags are not decisions

Qualzy Protect flags suspicious responses and sets them aside for review. Nothing leaves your dataset without you making the call. You're always in charge.

AI Reply Assistance

Never write a moderator reply
from scratch again.

For every participant response, AI generates multiple ready-to-send reply options - acknowledgements, follow-up questions, and custom responses based on your specific instructions. You review, pick the best option, edit if needed, and post. AI does the writing. You do the research.

Knows what they actually said Every suggestion references the participant by name and picks up specific details from their response - not a generic prompt applied to everyone.
Multiple options, you choose Three distinct reply types - acknowledgement, follow-up question, and a custom response based on your own instruction - so you pick the one that fits.
Ready when you are Choose automatic mode - suggestions prepared the moment a participant posts - or on-demand, where you request them only when you want help.
Suggestions are never automatically sent to participants - you review and post every reply, every time.
Language Bridging

Moderate in any language -
without speaking it.

When a project runs in a language your moderator doesn't speak, Qualzy doesn't ask them to translate their English into the participant's language. It does something better.

AI generates the reply natively in the participant's language - not as a translation from yours. The moderator sees a translation for review and approval. If the suggestion is right, they post it as-is. The participant receives genuine, culturally appropriate communication - not machine-translated English.

  • Reply suggestions written natively — not translated from your English draft
  • Each suggestion shown alongside an English translation so you can review confidently before posting
  • Handle multiple languages within a single project — each participant receives replies in their own language
  • Works across all reply types: thank you messages, follow-up probes, and custom instructions
  • Nothing is sent automatically — every reply requires your approval

Qualzy Protect

Data integrity.
Researcher in charge.

As AI-generated fake responses become more common in qual research, Qualzy Protect detects them - alongside other suspicious signals. But it never makes decisions on your behalf. Every flagged response goes into quarantine, where you review the evidence and decide what stays in your study.

AI-generated response detection Analyses language patterns, response structure, and linguistic fingerprints inconsistent with natural speech. Longer responses with uniform structure trigger stronger flags.
Paste behaviour monitoring Text pasted rapidly (within 3 minutes) raises a red flag. Moderate intervals show as grey. Large gaps receive no indicator - consistent with natural typing behaviour.
Completion speed anomalies Activities completed far faster than the minimum expected time - a video activity finished in 34 seconds, for example - are flagged automatically.
Duplicate participant detection Catches the same person entering with different credentials, protecting your sample integrity before it affects your findings.

AI detection isn't infallible - a well-crafted AI response can fool even sophisticated detectors. Qualzy Protect gives you better information to make your own informed judgements. It flags; you decide.
